Cycle4Alz is cancelled

Message from the cycle4alz.org website: We have been watching the forecast hoping for some sort of shift that would help us out for Sunday, but the forecast has remained the same. We are looking at rain starting tomorrow and hovering at nearly 100% overnight and into Sunday morning. Unfortunately, for this reason and the safety of the riders and our employees, we are going to cancel Sunday’s event. Packet pickup is still happening today so everyone can get their bags and shirts. You can also come by any time next week during regular business hours.

We have also decided that we would like to offer the 10 mile and 33 mile rides on Sunday, February 25th as an alternative. Because of permits and logistics, we won’t be able to run the 63 and 100 mile rides on an alternate date. If you are interested in joining us on the 25th for one of the rides, please call or email Tiffani at tanderson@brevardalz.org or 321-253-4430 ext. 105 and let us know so we can gauge the interest and plan for the eventual rain date. We will update the website and Facebook page with information as we go. We have been extremely lucky with the weather over the 10 years of this event, so we are pretty bummed for this forecast. We want to thank everyone for their support of The Foundation and this event, and we hope to see some of you next Sunday!
