Riding Skills Clinic

A Riding Skills Clinic presented by Ray Read & Jim O’Leary.

This clinic is being held in place of the River Road 14-28 Combo Ride on Saturday 4/22.
Start time is 8:30am at Rotary Park on Merritt Island, west side entrance off of S Tropical Trail.

This is an in-depth clinic on skills and safety responses, expanding topics covered in the Combo Ride briefings and building skills through hands-on exercises:

• Quick review of Sat Combo lessons
• Roadside repairs overview
• Rubbing and bumping – avoidance & recovery
• Hands-on tire repair

To encourage your participation, we are hosting a continental breakfast of coffee, orange juice, bagels & creme cheese!!
And of course, bring your bicycle, and take part in the hands-on exercises (helmet and shoes are required for riding portions).

For those who still want to ride a bit, afterwards we’ll lead a short jaunt down to Crooked Mile Rd and back (it’s a pretty road).
