Please join the Space Coast Freewheelers for the inaugural Ride of Silence in Brevard County, Florida on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. This silent ride will honor cyclists who have been killed or injured by motorists.

As Ride of Silence participants we can help to raise awareness among motorists that bicyclists have the same rights to roadways as motorists.  Numerous bicyclists have been seriously hurt or killed by motorists in Brevard County. They are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, friends and co-workers, as well as bicyclists.

This ride is also occurring in many other communities around the world: http://www.rideofsilence.org/locations-domestic.php
