Please join the SpaceCoast Freewheelers and the City of Rockledge Police Department for the 2nd Annual Ride of Silence in Brevard County, Florida on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. This silent ride will honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while riding their bicycles on Florida roadways.

As Ride of Silence participants we can help to raise awareness among all citizens that bicyclists have the same rights to roadways as motorists.  Numerous bicyclists have been seriously hurt or killed in Brevard County. They are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, friends and co-workers, as well as bicyclists.

This ride is also occurring in many other communities around the world: http://www.rideofsilence.org/locations-domestic.php
