It’s time again for a great out of town ride around DeLand, FL and then a dip in the cool waters of DeLeon Springs Park. A picnic of hamburgers and fixings’ will follow. The SCFW club will provide the burgers & buns, condiments and water & sodas. Bring a side dish, snacks, or sweets as you desire.
The park opens at 8am, but there is usually a line to get in at that time, so get there a little earlier for the queue. There is a $6 fee per car, exact change cash works best. We will select a picnic table in the park close to the parking area to setup a canopy and store our picnic supplies while we ride. Non-riders are invited and can hang at the park while the group rides. Bring a lawn chair and a towel!
There will be a B route of 39 miles and a C ride of 28 miles. We will try to start the rides at 8:30 or after everyone gets inside and kitted up.
